CANSINO -- Carlos E. Cansino, 80, died peacefully in his home with his family by his side. He was born February 20, 1931 in San Antonio, TX and was a Korean War Veteran and avid community activist and organizer in the Albuquerque area. Carlos was preceded in death by parents: Bartolo and Refugia Cansino. He is survived by wife of 51 years Rose V. Cansino of Albuquerque; sons: Victor Cansino and wife Gina, and Robert Vaca Cansino; daughters: Theresa Cansino, Maria Cansino-Noel and husband Kevin, and Lair Cansino; grandchildren: Joshua Samora, Isaiah Samora, Gabriella Cansino, Jenessa Torres, Derek C. Torres, Jabari Rahming-Noel, Nathan E. Noel, and Leah T. Emman. Life Celebration Service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE). MAES -- Benjamin A. Maes, 92, born in Wagon Mound, NM to Jose Maria and Emilia Maes, died March 13, 2011. He is survived by his children, Bennie D. Maes, Bernadette Garcia, Matthew Maes and Denise Maes; grandchildren, Renee Garcia, Robert Garcia and Melissa Garcia. Benjamin is also survived by his sisters, Frances Lopez and husband, Gus and Teresa Valdez and husband, Minder; his brothers, Vicente Maes and wife, Angelica, Juan Maes and wife, Emma and Orlando Maes and wife, Lucille; and many other family and friends. Mr. Maes was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; daughter, Rita Ann Maes; and his parents; brothers, Eloy and Margarito. Mr. Maes moved to Taos as a young man and met his wife there. He served our country during WWII in the United States Army. He worked on the railroad and the CC Camps as a young man and later he worked as parts manager for the Ford dealership in Taos. There will be a Rosary recited Thursday, 6:30 p.m., March 17, 2011 and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, 9:00 a.m., March 21, 2011 at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 10501 Indian School Rd. BACA -- MaryJane Baca (Gonzales), 77, our mother, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011, after a prolonged struggle with illness, with her entire family by her side. We feel an incredible sense of peace and love, and we are overwhelmed with pride at having been raised by such an exemplary human being who generated such a positive and vibrant life force. Thank you for all that you gave us mother, and God keep you safe now that you rest peacefully by his side. She is survived by her son, Joseph Baca; daughters, Marie Baca, Jocelyn Baca and husband Orrmond Pope, Michelle Baca and husband Stephen Kleban; grandchildren, Liv Marie Baca-Hochhausler and husband Josh Trujillo, Britt Marie Baca-Hochhausler and fiance, Jude Miller, Orin Pope, Galo Kleban, Juan Kleban; brother, Dan Gonzales; sisters, Gloria Castillo and husband Lorenzo, Kathryn Chavez; sisters-in-law, Emma Gonzales, Esther Gonzales, Rose Armijo, Marie Baca and Louise Baca; brothers-in-law Andrew Baca and Alex Herrera, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. MARCHI JR. -- George B. Marchi Jr., 84, beloved and devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to George B. Marchi Sr. and Vicenta (Bessie) Archuleta Marchi, whom all preceded him in death. He completed his journey on earth and entered eternal life with the Lord, Monday, March 14, 2011. He is survived by his wife Rita Lujan Marchi, sons Frank A. Marchi (wife) Kathleen, Michael T. Marchi (wife) Susan, Vincent Lawrence Marchi and Janet Marchi, daughter Jacqueline M. Baca (husband) Candido. And numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters, Maria (Tessie) Marchi, Betty Schulte and his only brother Donald L. Marchi (wife) Dusty. He was one of the early pioneers, in the early 40's, having worked for the University of California (AEC) from the inception of the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos, NM. He also was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Navy. Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 7:7:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 833 Arizona SE. Funeral mass will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:30. TENORIO -- Delphine Tenorio 77 passed away peacefully in her home Friday, March 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her children Vicki and David Candelaria. Sister Leona Kannegieter. She is survived by her Husband of 27yrs Esequiel Tenorio, Son Joe Candelaria and his three daughters, Daughter Penni Montoya and her son, Grandson Isaac Candelaria and his children, Granddaughter Maria Morris, husband and two daughters, two brothers Arlan and Irvin Warwick and their wifes. She is also survived by numerous loving great grandchildren,nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Delphine was a beautiful person inside and out, she was loved by all she came across. She had unwavering faith even in her last days.She will be terribly missed. Delphine's service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 8600 Los Volcanes rd on Friday March 18,2011 at 4 pm.

BERNAL -- Maria, age 74, a resident of Albuquerque, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 to go home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born in Torreon, N.M. Everything will be missed about this wonderful woman, she will never be forgotten. We all love you! She was preceded in death by her three sons, Rick, Frank and Chris Sanchez. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Adolfo Bernal; one sister, Margarita Griego; sons, Michael Sanchez and wife, Cristine, Steve Sanchez, Gene Sanchez and wife, Vidala and Joseph Sanchez and wife, Sandy; one daughter, Grace Sanchez; 12 loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, at 9:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Richard and Stephen Gonzales, Bill Sena, E.J. and Chris Sanchez and Paul Valdez. Honorary pallbearer will be Joseph Candalaria.
