Q: In honor of national healthcare recruiter recognition day, what inspired you to become one?
I was inspired to become a healthcare recruiter because I used to work in healthcare as a CNA back in high school. I absolutely LOVED the healthcare field as a whole and knew I wanted to stay in it from a different perspective. What I love most about my job now is connecting with people from different locations and backgrounds to find their perfect fit.
The healthcare professionals that I have worked with over the years have taught me so much. I always look forward to hearing from them and watching them grow!
Q: How do you align facility needs with the career goals of clinicians?
As a recruiter, you have to be mindful of both the needs of the facility and the healthcare professional. So, with both of those needs in mind, you must ask the correct questions to ensure the position aligns with both parties. If there is any inkling in an interview that this might not be the best fit for the facility or the professional, honesty is the best policy. Alignment through interviews is the best way to ensure clinicians can reach their goals.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Honestly, there are a lot of things! Through hiring healthcare professionals, I feel like my work contributes to the betterment of the world, and I am grateful to offer new opportunities for them to excel.
Additionally, I enjoy connecting with my clinicians, learning their goals and ambitions, and hearing their stories. I take pride in knowing this creates new adventures for them and their families to prosper from.
Q: What makes you proud to be a healthcare recruiter?
I have learned and grown so much as a person from my amazing team. My area manager, Shelby Evanczyk, is a phenomenal leader. When you have the support of the team and management taking pride in your accomplishments, that reflects in your work. Knowing this also helps me to offer the same guidance and support to clinicians. Bringing them on board and seeing them grow is extremely fulfilling and is the best part of being a recruiter.
Keisha was the most amazing recruiter that I have ever met ever! She was so informative and helpful with everything. I now have a full-time job thanks to her help.

Q: In honor of national healthcare recruiter recognition day, what inspired you to become one?
I had an opportunity to join a firm willing to train me as a recruiter and I love the fact that I get to help people daily. Knowing that I am an integral part of the selection, interview, and hiring process is the most rewarding part of helping healthcare professionals advance their careers.
Q: How do you align facility needs with the career goals of clinicians?
By understanding the needs of each client and listening to my clinician’s goals, this allows me to match the correct role with the clinician’s needs to grow or gain experience in their field. My success in matching candidates to the appropriate roles and the feedback provided to me through reviews and personal interactions make me proud to be a healthcare recruiter.
Robert is so passionate and is a knowledgeable recruiter… his attention to detail and communication makes me feel like he has my back.
