a couple of AUs I'd like to share 👀 please don't judge,, these are pretty special to me
#1: Cain and Abel in like a crusades/midieval timeline where they're still fathering their own lands and cities. What happened between the two brothers still stands and they have a wedge between them, so their homes are far off away from each other. Two cities, two kingdoms, etc. But they're in two different like terrains????? Cain's is more in an oasis in a very large dessert, while Abel's is in the same valley he protected (but is still protecting it). But here's a twist; there's deep, thick and dark woods surrounding the two kingdoms, and almost everyone of their people are way too afraid to even step inside of them, due to the "spirits" that inhabit the place. Due to these rumors, at first the two kings didn't believe them, until sh*t started happening to them. For example: Cain is starting to have some of his fruits and vegetables stolen during the night, and Abel keeps having visitors f*ck with him during his night shifts, obviously making him even more pissed than usual. Over the years, they had different methods of coping with this. Cain, during his road to redemption, at first he used to get UBER PISSED 😡 like it would just immediately make him mad. Nowadays, it's an inconvenience, mostly due to the fact that he provides all this food for his people, but he always makes sure to plant a little extra in case whoever or whatever can get a whole BOX LOAD of fruits of his labor. Abel....his temper has SKYROCKETED over the years, but it gets him to pretty much have more practice, like in his way of thinking, it's just another opponent testing him, so he can get PUMPED™ and have better ways to strike down future enemies. The two of them of course remind their people that the spirits don't mean them any harm, they're just curious about their society and what they do 🥺
#2: this one is, I guess more indulgent???? since it's kind of connected to my own personal worlds 👀 Cain and Abel are quite literally the Kings of the world, but it's in modern times. Like due to their immortality, they've been able to father many kingdoms, but they've decided to share the countries, while they have their own palaces, sanctums and temples. (The brothers' own pyramids have beacons that quite literally spikes into space in their respective colors (blue and red), kinda like what you see in Conan Exiles) Cain rules over the Americas, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, etc, while Abel has Europe, Africa, the Asian countries, etc. And surprisingly, with the two of them in charge, there's a feeling of peace in the air. The crime rates are considerably low and there aren't any ridiculously insane laws the two brothers make. Everyone is treated equally, and I mean legitimately, and it's all LGBTQA+ friendly (sh*t, the brothers themselves have their own sexual identities). Both bros are busy almost everyday, and while they have the energy for it, they get tired every once in a while. Being immortal, they pretty much have a bit more strengths than normal humans, basically superhuman abilities and senses. They'll have guards accompany them too but not too many, maybe about two or four, well that's more of Cain, Abel usually doesn't need any, but the most he'll have is two. It's not because they need protection, it's for the people's protection as, as usual, anything done to Cain will be reflected, and Abel will just come right back and kill. They've adapted quite well with the changes Earth has needed over the eons they've been alive, and the two always know what to do in case any changes might come up. Is their relationship still strained from what happened in the beginning? Sort of, not as bad as they used to be. They're...working on it. But at least they're okay enough to where they can put all that aside for the moment and figure stuff out together, because this world need their help anyways.

so a couple of headcanons I've had for a while now
#1: Cain probably has the same kind of abilities as Abel, but he's never used them or he just hasn't used them in eons, since like say during the times he fathered his own cities, as the king he viewed himself as the protector of his people. However, most of the time, it's usually because he prefers not to. Only when the situation is seen as a DIRE NEED for him to legitmately step in and fight, that is when he will take out his own weapons, and I can only imagine just how shocked the other staff members would be. I kinda imagine his weapons of choice would be a warhammer and a shield, and whenever he uses them, he becomes unprecedentedly scary. Even though he's been damned to walk the Earth forever due to his sins and usually views himself as a monster due to said sins, he still sees it's his duty to protect the people around him, kind of why he highly urged for the staff to make sure he doesn't meet Abel, it was for their safety.
#2: Simply; Abel and Conan were best friends. The image of the two most barbaric, savage and powerful men banding together just fits. Plus, a little angst here, Conan, somehow in a way just reminded Abel of the relationship that he and Cain used to have when they were younger. Like that undescribable closeness that brothers share. You can probably imagine just how distant and angry Abel became when Conan's time came. It probably also explains why he legitmately enjoyed the time that he had with that one agent he inquired about at that one point. Deep down in the crevasses of his dark heart, he misses that kind of closeness, but it's easy for him to hide it behind his sociopathic ways.
